gta such an awesome series. played san andreas for the first time in along time today. i still havent played vice city though (or any of the 'stories' games), i need to get copies of them soon.

gta iv, looks pretty awesome as well. hopefully it lives up to the hype.

The stories games are good on PSP, but don't stand up to GTA:SA on the PS2

SA is quite possibly one of the best games ever, huge in concept and scope.

yea. the amount of stuff you can do in that game is unbelievable. imagine what gtaIV will be like lol, whats greater than epic?

imagine san andreas stories on psp, that would be awesome.

How about Soul Calibur 3?

That game kick serious ass!

However, I guess it isn't as immersive as SA....

No. As much as the Dark Brotherhood questline rocked it isn't better than SA.

The fact that you never actually outgrow your enemys removes that satisfaction of returning to someone who used to be much better then you and slaying them. Big time. Which is pretty much the best part of any RPG

Actually, while I throughly enjoyed Oblivion, it just didn't immerse me in the same way as SA. I got so caught up in the story with that game. Oblivion didn't do it in the same way. Other then the Dard Bortherhood quest where you have to kill off everyone at the sanctuary

The first time I did that I nearly cried.

i just love the way that there are so many different things to do in SA.

^Same for Oblivion. It takes 250 hours or so do see everything in the game, not counting the several expansion packs. Each expansion pack adds another 10 hours of gameplay, one of them adds like another 100 hours.

Sounds like a lot of things to do.
