FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) READ!

Postby scarr3d on Sat Oct 20, 2007 11:34 am

This FAQ was written and compiled on the 25th of October 2007, changes will need to be made and this will have to be updated frequently in the future. You will be notified of any changes when they happen.

Ok, here are some questions that you might need answered, please read this BEFORE contacting anyone, only do that if your question isn't answered here.

Where are the rules?

- [url=http://musicmayhem.freeforums.org/viewtopic.php?t=2Right[url]Right here - Click[/url]. Please respect the rules, they're there for a reason.

Can I somebody change my username for me?

- Simple answer, no. The username that you chose when you sign up is your final username.
If you violate the rules or have obscene words in you username, depending on how severe, you will either get this changed to something that you won't like, or just a straight-out ban.

What is my 'Profile' and how do I change it?

- Your profile is a small screen that has a few details (Optional) about yourself that other users can see.
Up the top of the screen there are a few different words, click the one that says 'Profile'.

How do I change the colour and size of my text?

-[url=http://musicmayhem.freeforums.org/faq.php?mode=bbcode[url]This[/url] Should answer all those questions for you.

What do the different colored names for the moderators mean?

-T he different colours are to distinguish between the moderators and their types.

Ok so, what's the difference between the different types of Mods?

- The Administrator/s basically run the forum, have control over what goes on, who does things, can ban and un-ban users, etc.

- The Moderator/s help the Adminitrator/s do their job, but don't have as many priveledges. Though don't let that worry you, they still have ALOT of power within these forums.

- The Veteran users don't have any rights (At the moment) but get a special title because they've been around since the start of the forums and are quite helpful and know what's what.

If you'd like to discuss or debate any of these rules with me, I'd be happy to negotiate with you.

0.o I haven't been on much the last 2 days, I've been very busy... Maybe people don't like that...

I don't mind too much, but if some was taken from me, I'd like to know the reason why...

Yeah, you can set your timezone in your profile settings
One of the advantages of horses that people sometimes point out, is that they very seldom explode. Almost never, in my experience, apart from that unfortunate occurence in the hot summer a few years ago.
