This forum is based in Australia, so some words like color and Mom are spelled 'colour' and 'Mum'. I appreciate people pointing out spelling mistakes and I encourage it, but please don't report any spelling mistakes due to country variations. I do not dis-courage people from spelling words the way they are spelled in their country so please don't harass other users for doing so.

There is a standard FAQ that I forgot existed when I typed up my own, located * [url=http://musicmayhem.freeforums.org/faq.php[url]Here - Click[/url] *and is (So far) Alot more comprehensive. But mine will still be left on here and if you can't find the answer, consult the standard one. If you still don't get your question answered (After THORUOGHLY reading both FAQ's) Then contact me.

Some words that you may come across in these forums that you may not know the meaning of will be explained below:

Admin - Short term for Administrator.

Mod - Short term for Moderator.

PM - Abbreviation of Private Message.

BBCode - BBCode is similar to HTML language, it it used to change font colour and size as well as do other things.

Topic (or) Thread - The name commonly given to a discussion topic in the forums.

Post - A reply to a topic or thread

Smilies (or) Emoticons - Little faces or symbols used to display emotions such as 'Happy' - :D, 'Sad' - :( or 'Confused' - :? Click --> * [url=http://musicmayhem.freeforums.org/posting.php?mode=smilies[url]HERE[/url] * to see the different smilies (Some more may be added in the future).

Flame (or) Flaming - Used to describe a personal attack on another user or a post that they've made. Flaming is stricky frowned upon and could get you banned without warning.

I'm sure that there are more, I'll add them when I get a chance.

When a forum is LOCKED it means that there are changes being made or other things that can't be disturbed. This means that you can't make a new thread or post in a topic. Issues or changes that need to be done can sometimes take a little while to complete so please be patient.

Also, obscene (swear) words are censored. Any users caught trying to 'cheat' the system will be wared and/or banned (Trust me, I'll find out one day) so don't try it.
