psp?

Postby pringa on Tue Nov 20, 2007 11:47 am

who has a psp here? im thinking of getting one, most prob the new refined version. tv out seems interesting.

what do you think are the best games on it?

are there any really epic games? because while most games are cut down to make them more portable, id prefer something along the lines of pokemon, which is pretty largish. if there was a proper version of football manager on it, id most prob already have a psp.
epic or time consuming games, id like to play on a psp cause it means im not chained to the computer or ps2.

I have a PSP. I couldn't tell you any epic games since I haven't bought any new ones in overa year and a half. I would recomend Lumines! It's an awesome puzzle game along the lines of tetris I guess.

The PSP is pretty good, but I find the thumb control (the equivalent of the analogue stick) pretty awkwardly placed. It gave me hand cramps if I played for more than about half an hour.

:(
One of the advantages of horses that people sometimes point out, is that they very seldom explode. Almost never, in my experience, apart from that unfortunate occurence in the hot summer a few years ago.

Not a fan of the PSP, It's hard to explain. for some reason whenever i play it everything seems to be moving in hyper speed, like playing hockey on my Ps2 goes regular motion but on PsP it goes 5x faster and I can't control anything.

Sega Game Gear > Any other hand held console ever

I have 2 DS's (A Standard and a Lite version), I decided to go for them over the PSP, but a friend of mine got a PSP over a DS and he ended up selling it 2 weeks later. He personally didn't like it but they have some pretty cool games on both. I haven't gotten sick of my DS and I've had them since the day they came out, so maybe for longetivity the DS is the way to go.

Animal Crossing FTW!

im probably going for the psp over the ds because of the multimedia comparabilities. the homebrew stuff seems pretty interesting as well, such as running emulations of older game systems.
being able to watch video without having to carry around another device is pretty good.
