Songs That You Aren't Ashamed You Like

Postby scarr3d on Tue Oct 30, 2007 11:51 am

Ok, so post a list of songs in here that you like but don't tell anyone because of certain reasons, lol. My list:

Ronan Keating - When You Say Nothing At All
Leonardo's Bride - Even When I'm Sleeping
The Murmurs - Mission
Ah Ha - Take On Me
Crash Test Dummies - Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm
Europe - The Final Countdown
George Michael - (Pretty Much Everything, lol)
Seal - Kiss From A Rose
Michelle Branch - Goodbye To You
Journey - Midnight Train
Meatloaf - (The whole Bat Out Of Hell album)
Jane Wieldin - Rush Hour (Lol)

I'll probably think of many more, but that's a start. So leave your reputation behind and post away! :)

I don't mean ashamed, that was a bad choice of word, I just meant songs that you wouldn't want certain people to know.
Like if someone you knew asked you what your favourite songs were, these would be the ones somewhere near the bottom of the list that you'd probably never tell them unless they asked you, lol.

Yes, guilty pleaseures, lol.

I used to really like My Chemical Romance until everyone at school started listening to them.
I'd say to people 'Check out this new band, My Chemical Romance' and they'd all go 'They sound gay', then a few months later some 'cool' kids started listening to them and they'd be like 'Hey, [insert retard's name here] just introduced me to this new band called My Chemical Romance, you should listen to them!'.

It's happened so many times with so many bands.

Yea, its pretty lame when people shut out bands for what they sound like, but you give it a year later the band is trendy and everyone likes them.

lame indeed.

luckily i don't listen to the radio enough to be turned off by the popularity or unpopularity of music.

for instance, i always hated fall out boy's music, before they were popular, when they were popular, and when they became unpopular again. except for the arms race song, it's catchy.

Yea, i know what you mean. Ha theres always that one musician/band you hate, but they always have a catchy bit of a song that gets stuck in your head.

The entire "Come On Over" album by Shania Twain.

I love that CD!

I also like Didos "Life For Rent"
One of the advantages of horses that people sometimes point out, is that they very seldom explode. Almost never, in my experience, apart from that unfortunate occurence in the hot summer a few years ago.
